also i think they should reset apple villages so people can have chances to have a temple.......and make emeralds valuablee something like emerald blocks or even to upgrade potions way more to be way more effective

it would, since the game has to render the players, keep the world chunks in their position and veiw distance rendered, and players would be looking in all directions too(a single player by themselves will only render chunks in the FOV/feild of view, though if another player is looking towards the direction the other isn't rendering, those world chunks would be rendered too, making more area rendered).
The game needs to simulate every sound, entity, and action around all the players. Some player's clients can handle it more than others, while other ones lag much easier in situations where lots of players are in the same place.
You won't notice problems with a few, or depending on your client, lots of players, but eventually there will be a limit of how many players the client can handle before crashing.

No dont shut off spawns
I think spawn zones should be shut down for good, but portals and villages should remain active. Portal should be unbreakable as well
