It will let me make GIF files my profile picture, but they don't animate, they just stay in the first frame. I was really looking forward to using a GIF as my profile pic, could this be fixed ASAP?

I think .jpg (.jpeg) is the preferred format, but gif's would be nice.

pocadmin, No! Pocadmin, if you do this, it could harm people's eyes while they read, causing damage or eye strain. it could also harm people with elipesy because if someone uses flashing images they might get a seizure. also, someone might put innappropriate gifs on their profile which is bad for children! It also causes lag on the forums, and certain devices will barely be able to run forums anymore!

Illusionz, There is nothing stopping people from using inappropriate images for a regular profile picture, not to mention the fact that they would or at least should make it an option for you to not see other people's GIFs animate when you sign up or on your profile.

Illusionz, Also, you aren't supposed to be using such sites if you have epilepsy to begin with. You don't need to watch a video or GIF to get eyestrain. Even if it did, studies have shown that eyestrain from view computer monitors is temporary and fixes itself with rest.
