When the enchantment update comes out, it's likely that they're adding the Blast protection enchantment for armor, which makes players take less damage from explosions.
Only downer on blast protection enchantment is that players early use TNT and creapers don't do tons of damage (thankfully I can see about ten creapers right our my window of my house they are annoying but I like gun powder for potients
I was in my inventory and suddenly BOOM!!!!! Thankfully my base has a lot of stone arround it and nothing accept a switch and a few red stone peaces and torches were mocked off their blocks

I almost had a hart attack when a creaper exploded next to me in my base it must have gotten in through the door in my base

Literally just ealier,a creeper exploded in my base with me in it,and I lost a lot of carpet. :-P
