Why are chickens just piling up at the fence and dying? They used to walk around but as of recently they have just being going to fence after I spawn them in. After a few minutes they just die at the fence, I'm not sure if they are suffocating in the fence.

Thanks! I gave it to developers, they will fix it.

Cheers!

POCAdmin1, the chickens are also glitching to the other side of the fence.

In the past this happened with larger animals such as cows, sheep, and pigs, where they kept walking up against the fences and suffocating in it, like they would if somehow they were stuck in a solid block like gravel or stone.

Most likely the problem lies in either the properties of fence blocks, with them thinking they're solid blocks in the code when they should be a transparent block(which should prevent suffocation damage if you got stuck in it somehow), or the animal hitboxes intrepret fence blocks like a solid block while for some reason player hitboxes interpret the fence blocks like a transparent block.

Though the problem could be in animal AIs as well as in the past, I did witness sheep and chickens getting damaged when all they did was walk up one grass block in the forest, so maybe when Animal AI detects walking up or against blocks it could get out of sync with the actual hitbox, allowing an occasional weak spot that could possibly damage the animal if they came in contact with blocks when the delay error occurred.

However this is just speculation.
