For all of WoC and PoC's history the only movement speed that you can move at is the default walking speed, though there is no change in speed if you're sneaking, and you do not have the ability to sprint/run which can be a disadvantage in both PvE (Player vs Entity) and PvP (Player vs Player) combat.

My suggestions are that there should be a button to allow you to sprint, sprinting allows you to move about 30% faster(the value MineCraft has) than default walking.

While you sprint, you burn through saturation and hunger faster than normal, and once you have two hunger bars left you cannot sprint anymore and require food to continue sprinting, this is to balance it out and also how Minecraft does it of course.

Sprinting allows you to escape mob hordes and player attacks a lot easier than normal walking, and can put a bit more challenge and variety in combat.

As for Sneaking, the player's camera will move down 1/8 of a block, player movement would be about 30% slower than regular walking, but while sneaking mobs won't target the player until within 80% of the normal detection range, and the player hitbox would also be able to fit in 1.5 block spaces instead of the regular 2 block space.

Food and saturation depletion rates could also be significantly slower while sneaking.

I like the fact that you included saturation because honestly I don't really want players to have any more of a chance to run away than they already do. My friend asked me to make a post about adding enderpearls but I'm still debating on weather or not it would be fair or would mess with pvp. I feel like people are already too hard to catch whenever I chase them they somehow seem to always stay ahead of me even when they turn a lot and I still go straight they somehow manage to keep full speed. I wouldn't like people to be able to go even faster to otherwise chasing people would become pointless. But it does make sense for the saturation part I just hope they make the saturation very heavy so people don't Sprint for so long maybe heavier than in Minecraft because no one likes PvP quitters who run away.

Sprinting would be very helpful in my opinion against witches their the only mob that I read in this game since they can throw slowness and poison you really fast. I often find myself seeing one and either charging toward it so I don't get poisoned or running backwards sunbathing so it misses, I feel their throwing range is a bit far for old ladies but I guess their whitches after all lol.

Indeed, those witches are pretty annoying to fight at times, lol.

As for sprinting, I do have memories of me trying to follow group members but somehow being slower and I would have to say something in chat for them to wait for me to catch up because with no speed potions I could only walk, so sprinting would also be useful for similar situations as well.
