Hello. Ya' know the drill! Lol. most of this suggestion is inspired by Terraria&7 Days to Die. Hope you guys will like the suggestion! :D

•the Blood Moon is an event that occurs every 365 game days,and after the event, the game won't activate another Blood Moon until the next 365 game days(so basically one every one or two IRL weeks). It can also be used to signify a new game year,if that's helpful somehow.

•on the screen,there will be a timer counting down how many game days are left until the next Blood Moon. It also counts game years.

•three days before the blood Moon,the sky during day,and the moon during night will slowly tint to red,day 3 until the Blood Moon,the sky/moon will be slightly pink tinted but will still look almost regular,day 2 until the Blood Moon, the sky/moon will be slightly more red,on this day,the sun will also be more of an orange color,and the clouds will have a red tint to them too,then the day before the Blood Moon, the sky will be red-pink,the sun will be red-orange,the clouds are red,and the water will have a slight red tint to it as well,then when the Blood Moon begins,the moon will be a blood-red color also the moon is also bigger,the clouds will still be red,the night sky will have a faint red glow,and the water will be blood-red,and if it rains,the rain will also be blood-red,also water in a cauldron will be red then too.

•Durring a Blood Moon,you won't be able to sleep in a bed(when added) at all.

•Durring a blood moon,new spider spawns will be replaced with cave spiders(when added),and black widows(a future Suggestion)

new creeper spawns will sometimes be replaced with charged Creepers

new zombie spawns will sometimes be replaced with Husks and zombie Pigmen(when added)

new skeleton spawns will be replaced with Wither Skeletons and Strays(when added)

new slime spawns will be replaced by special slimes(a future Suggestion),and those spawns will sometimes be replaced with magma Cubes(when added)

new Endermen spawns will sometimes be replaced with Nethermen(a future Suggestion)

new Pumpkinheads(when added) spawns will sometimes be replaced by Melonheads(a future Suggestion)and Advanced Pumpkin Monsters(when added),and the Advanced Pumpkin monsters will sometimes spawn riding a skeleton horse,or wither skeleton horse(when added)

new bat(when added)spawns will be replaced with hostile vampire bats(a future Suggestion)

new mouse(when added) spawns will be replaced with rats(when added)

new rabbit spawns will be replaced with Killer Rabbits(when added)and zombie rabbits(a Future Suggestion)

new horse spawns will be replaced with Zombie and Skeleton horses(when added)

new sheep/pig/cow/chicken/turkey/wolf/ocelot/donkey/mooshroom/Llama/Goose/goat/deer/bear spawns will be replaced with Zombie variants of themselves (there is so much I didn't suggest prior to this suggestion! xD)

new Neutral Silverfish spawns(a future Suggestion) will be replaced with Hostile Silverfish(a future Suggestion)

new fish(when a mob version of fish is added)spawns will be replaced by Netherfish(a future Suggestion)

Wolves,Ocealots,spiders,Endermen,zombie Pigmen,or anything neutral to the player will always be hostile during a Blood Moon,but will turn back to Neutral after the Blood Moon ends

•Durring blood Moon,new mobs(mobs that don't replace other mob's spawns) will also spawn on a Blood Moon such as

Blazes(in Desserts and Mesas)

Ghasts(in Desserts and Mesas)

Demon Eyes(a future Suggestion)

Ogres(in swamps,roofed forests,desserts,and tundras. a future Suggestion. Somebody once told me -DreamWork's Shrek;2001)

special Zombies(a future Suggestion)

Vampires(a future Suggestion)

Venus Fly traps(in Jungles. a future Suggestion)

Werewolves(a future Suggestion)

Harpy(a future Suggestion)

And Killer Flying Fish(durring Blood Moon rain. A future Suggestion)

•Durring Blood Moons,Zombie,Pumpkinhead,and Skeleton variant mobs,Demon Eyes,slime variant mobs,zombie animals,and killer animals(killer rabbit/vampire bats/killer flying fish/Hostile Silverfish)spawn more often than other monster mobs

•when a Blood Moon starts,when in-game music is added,the Blood Moon will make the regular game music warp&studder,and then it'll eventually get quite,and then start it's Blood Moon event music soon after. During this event, the Blood Moon starts out the same moon color has it was on day 2 before the Blood Moon,and will keep "glitching" and flashing between what that moon stage looks like,and the Blood Moon it's self until it eventually stops,and becomes the Blood Moon. Also music played from a note block,or Juke box will have a slower,darker,creepier tone to it during a Blood Moon.

•Zombies and skeletons will be more likely to spawn with armor and weapons during a Blood Moon than normal,and will usually spawn with more chain,iron,or diamond armor,and iron&diamond tools spawns than normal too.

•Durring a Blood Moon,you might need to change your wooden doors for iron ones,and your glass to obsidian glass(in one of my previous suggestions,also obsidian glass isn't as expensive,or different from the regular glass texture as you think),as some of the Blood Moon creature's attacks can consist of breaking doors&glass down to get you.

•Durring a Blood Moon,mob drop chances are increasingly are more common by 50% of their original chance,for most mobs,execpt for a few(for example,the Advanced Pumpkin monsters).

•Durring a Blood Moon, the weaker Blood Moon creatures can sometimes spawn with potion buffs

•no Blood Moon mobs will spawn in the Spawn zone,or 6 chunks in radius of any spawn zones either

•Zombies tend to spawn in larger hordes during a Blood Moon,and zombies will sometimes spawn as a "Screamer Zombie"(a female zombie with pale skin,black hair,and a tattered gray dress,based off the ones in 7 Days to Die), which when it spots a player,or attacked,it'll make a loud scream sound every 15 seconds,which will summon 3-5 Zombies of random variants(even zombie animals,special zombies,or other screamers),that will also help attack what the original screamer was provoked by(it could've been after a player,or the screamers could do the same thing to other mobs who accidentally like skeletons,or intentionally like tammed wolves, attacked the Screamer Zombie), making Screamer Zombies an either dangerous threat,or a good use in battles,if the Screamers are attacking the right thing.

•After a Blood Moon,the regular in-game music(an extra part of one of the suggested features on the list above) will start warping and studdering back in over the Blood Moon music,and the moon will start "glitching" and flashing between the Blood Moon,and the regular moon,until eventually it stops,and the Blood Moon becomes the regular moon again,and the music stops,and soon the usual in-game music will play again for another 365 game days.

•Every 100 game years,the Blood Moon will be replaced by a Cyan Moon,which is it's own event that is more based on harpies,wyverns,and dragons(all will be in a future Suggestion),than it is on zombies,and undead mobs. During a Cyan Moon,every effect(moon,sky,clouds,water,rainfall)will be Cyan opposed to Blood-Red this time,even during the 3 day warning,also the Cyan Moon's night sky will be a darker lapis blue color,lots of Blood Moon creatures(such as Nether mobs,Vampires,Ogres,and most Zombie animals) won't spawn during this event,but cave spiders,and Advanced Pumpkin monsters will be more common. Also a lot more new Pumpkinheads spawns will be replaced with melon heads,or Advanced Pumpkin monsters,so usual Pumpkinheads are rare during this event. During the Cyan Moon,clocks(when added) will actually stop working for the duration of the Cyan Moon event. Like when the Blood Moon begins and ends,with the "glitching moon",and the "curroupted" in-game music,but the point where the Cyan Moon either begins or stops,there will be a huge explosion noise,similar to the death sound of MineCraft's Ender Dragon,or a loud growl,similar to MineCraft's Ender Dragon's growl. Also the in-game music,along with music from note blocks and juke boxes Durring a Cyan Moon isn't changed to a creepier theme like how it is During a Blood Moon,but instead sounds pristine,or heavenly or something like that. The Moon is largest in the Cyan stage than regular,or the Blood one.

Edit:

•During midnight of the Blood Moon event,the water will turn bright red,and deal half a heart of damage each second a player stays in it(if you have the fire resistance potion effect,you'll be immune to it). During midnight of the Cyan Moon event,the water will turn bright cyan,and will give you the night vision and regeneration potion effect infinitely for as long as you're in the water,and the potion effects last 10 seconds out the water. Rainfall during those times during the event however,doesn't have any effects.

no,on Blood Moons a zombie variant of cows will spawn during a Blood Moon. Regular cows are just fine

actually it's just an atmospheric thing. It will still act like normal water,because it's still water. because it would be difficult for a whole new block to be automatically placed in every water block. But that gave me an idea. Maybe during the middle of the Blood Moon event, the water could turn bright red,and take half a heart of damage for each second a player stays in it

basically any spawns of certain animals that happen durring a Blood Moon event will spawn as Zombie versions of themselves(with the exclusion of baby animals spawning after breeding during then,they will still spawn as normal baby animals)

Oh ideal if you die on the day of the blood moon (in game)you can't join the game back till the next day/night

I had that in mind,but it seems unfair for it to be that way. Especially if someone just died by lava,or fall damage,or drowning,or cactus,or by a player,and not some death Blood Moon related. Also if you were trying to hunt mobs that are exclusive to Blood or Cyan Moons and die,that would suck for them,especially since if a Blood Moon comes once every 1-2 IRL weeks,and there's 52 weeks in a year, so there will only be a blood moon once every 1-2 IRL years.

in the suggestion, I had it increase rare mob drops from Certain Blood Moon creatures by 50% more of the chance then normal

In the suggestion I suggested it to that maybe about half of any Creeper spawns during the Blood Moon would be spawned as super charged Creepers. :)

you know that in MineCraft,Endermen now spawn in the Nether,but is just the regular Enderman. But I suggest that there should be a Nether variant to Endermen,that's different,and more dangerous than the regular ones. If Nethermen dye in water,they will also have a 100% chance to drop 4 obsidian on death.
