What do the spawn eggs do is it just a skin pack of do they hatch creatures and is the update just adding the new Redstone stuff or is their going to be more to it. I still have my update game blocks and they haven't changed? Is the update still being worked on or is this all? I'm just kinda confused why it never does any notifacations any more it just does it by itself ?
I'm assuming is just a skin pack of animals, if it was actual spawn eggs it would be in the item shop. Also a lot of new stuff for the redstone mechanics has been added, so that's something new to play with.
supposedly it seems like you can get actual spawn eggs in survival now via the shop, a little cheaty if you ask me though.
BlueTangs Rock3, I guess it is cheaty since spawn eggs seems like a creative mode thing. However, I'm definitely taken advantage to make a farm of them since is harder to get a herd to follow you to into a fence in place, now I can just spawn them in. The only thing I'm questioning is why add a golem, spider, slime and zombie spawn eggs.

Yeah I know about the Redstone stuff the thing is that most of it is broken and might need some fixing like likes anything that opens doors that does not use your hand it glitches the ground out and causes you to see through the map I can already imagine tons of people using it to find bases. Anne the pressure plates don't work I've tested all the new stuff in survival multiplayer mode and so far they need some work but it's great so far. The only thing I don't know is how to use the dropped I tried throwing things on top of it so it could pick them up but it did nothing I also tried putting 2 chest on both sides of it to see if it was supposed to move Items in some way but it didnt?
ALITTARYBUILDERALAN, yup the same things happend to me when trying the new Redstone materials. I guess they are still working on things but at least there is something new to do in the game.
Some devices have the update, so probably when all devices get the update, the new things should start working.
I take it back the spawn egg skin are actually spawn eggs of different mobs, I bought some from a friend. So, this is actually great news if you want to make a farm or just want to spawn hostile mobs for any reason.
Sadly it seems tablets take longer to update than computers and other devices mine only has the Redstone update none of other new features are here and even worst I'm grounded so I'm not aloud to play planet craft for 3 days =C
