I’m pretty happy with my first base. Yeah, I know now that building it above ground well within in the sub 1000 category is a huge noob error but I was already well underway with construction before I read the warnings about base “griefing”. I’ve been lucky so far - I’ve had at least 5 visitors, 3 simply came and left a sign with their name and date of visit in my building. Another came, slaughtered my chickens, ransacked a chest and ran off. And worryingly another has built an overnight base right next to mine and logged out.....So I figure it shan’t be long before my base is destroyed. So for perpetuity I’m posting some pictures. Bit of a newbie at posting...hoping these pictures come out ok.

LOL. very astute of you - I’ve now logged many more hours than my kids. I now play for me! They decide on the build but I do most of the building. the current project is a cake shop (although strangely I kind of hope we never get any customers).

If you're worrried about griefing and such I'd suggest making a lot of extremely well hidden, compact bunkers far apart fom each other with equal amounts of stuff in them and write down all the coordinates, so that if you need to you can completely abandon one base to whoever ends up coming along and destroying it, and run to the next. That's what I usually end up doing (Not currently, although I do have a few left from a while ago). Then you won't have one huge beautiful base that gets destroyed and you end up super depressed about it
Some new additions. Firstly a cake shop “number 1 Cakes” offering “the best cakes in the biome” with all organic ingredients grown right on our own farm. The second is a plant shop “Plant of Cubes”. Offering all the available edible and flowering plants in the world. It really is a must see with its elaborate stained glass window in the shape of a flower and tranquil hanging vines. So come, marvel at the wonderous flora whilst munching on complimentary slice of cake. A guaranteed break from mining, fighting and trolling.

Oh, I haven't really built anything since that old village me, Bansheeplant, Alexandra, and Spearize made, other than a massive wheat feild that one time.
Terraforming a decent area is normally a little difficult with the dirt or sand that would normally burry things over by now, and I haven't really played since mid-late 2018, I just have a forum addiction at this point, Lol.
Hopefully the game will become good enough for me to be motivated to play again soon enough. :)

Hi guy- Eskip leader, hi, that’s very kind of you. I’ve not found many diamonds - enough for tools but to be honest I’m not sure diamond armour would help me much. Iron armour is enough against mobs during the day and Regardless of any armour or weapons or potions I suspect I’d be slaughtered by anyone with a wooden sword if I actually got in a fight. Not really a strength of mine. In fact someone with a wooden sword and no armour slew me whilst I was putting down cake and iron and a sign ..... thinking I’d help them out as they seemed to have nothing..... I suppose diamond armour is intimidating though. Maybe the wooden sword guy might have not attacked had I been covered in diamonds.
I play on iPad so I suspect that’s a different server.
