Am I crazy, or do you never seem to get hungry in peaceful survival mode? The hunger meter stays full, and never goes down, making a lot of in-game actions, such as farming, crafting food items, and growing crops pretty pointless. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, or on purpose, but it is pretty irritating, especially when you have all this food to spare, and nothing to do with it.

Yeah, That's Intentional. In peaceful mode, monsters don't spawn, and your always full from hunger so that you're able to always regenerate health fast. It's exactly like Peaceful mode is on MineCraft.

So basically in peaceful mode you never really have to farm crops or animals, but you could still do it for the heck of it even if it doesn't really have a use. Wheat can make haybales, carrots and Melons can be crafted with gold nuggets to get golden carrots and glistening Melons which can make brewing ingredients, pumpkins can be crafted into Jack-o-lanterns, Wool can be used for various decorations(since single player unlike Multiplayer, has all the color dyes)and wool can also make carpets and beds, beetroot might be crafted into red dye(or possibly not because not every way of the crafting recipes for certain dyes have been added yet), and rabbits drop rabbit's feet rarely which can be used as a brewing ingredient. Other than that, crops and animals have no actual use in Peaceful mode singleplayer survival.

BlueTangs Rock3, I see your point, but it kind of defeats the purpose of it being a “survival mode”. Where’s the challenge in it? What’s the point of making food items if you never get hungry in the first place? Sure, you can still die from falling off cliffs and drowning, but people are (usually) smart enough not to do these things in-game. It’s basically just creative mode with limited supplies, and feels pretty lazy.

I argee. It should be more challenging like when you have to survive after your plane crash.

this is about the peaceful difficulty mode, there is also the normal difficulty mode, which is what you'ld want if you want a Survival Challenge, similar to the kind of difficulty of the Main Survival Multiplayer Servers, except it'll be somewhat easier, since there's no other players in Singleplayer mode, however I guess as an unintentional trade off, more glitches, and WAY more lag occur in Singleplayer mode, since it's more overlooked since PoC's more known for it's online multiplayer servers, rather than offline Singleplayer worlds, and Solverlabs has a small number of employees, resulting in them having to abandon ship from World of Cubes, when PoC Survival Multiplayer came out, and it required more Solverlabs employees to work on PoC. (it's the Main Survival Multiplayer Server's 2nd Birthday today/6-7-18, since the server was released on June 7th 2016 btw! :D)
